World Wings International
World Wings International is a social/charitable organization, founded fifty years ago this year and is made up entirely of former Pan Am Flight Attendants. The organization is composed of 34 Chapters worldwide: Stockholm, Oslo, Paris, London, Tokyo and all over the US. We have more than 2000 members. Many of our members still fly for United and Delta. Every year we hold a convention in a different city. This year it will be in Quebec City, Canada, and usually we welcome about 500 members and guests. This year is special, as it is the fiftieth anniversary, and we are proud to say we have made over three million dollars for charity since we began in 1959. Our principal partner is CARE (Careinternational.org). We have a lottery at the convention every year, and this year the Grand Prize will be a two-week stay in a two-bedroom apartment in Paris (Montmartre) plus $2000 shopping money. Each chapter contributes prizes, such as cash, and luxury items that have been donated by various fashion houses, etc.
